“The Peninsula is a bucket list retirement destination for many Victorians and it's easy to see why. We searched for another site in the area for some time and I believe that Martha Bay's location is outstanding,” said Andrew.
Following the official sod-turn, Tony and his wife Kristine joined guests at the luncheon at the Mornington Golf Club. Undaunted by the weather, over a hundred people enjoyed a delicious two course lunch and heard about RCA's plans for Martha Bay.
“At Martha Bay, residents will enjoy beautifully appointed homes, featuring high ceilings, timber floors, entertainer kitchens with European appliances and ensuites with double vanities. Some designs offer butler’s pantries, others large studies. All have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and double glazing. Martha Bay will have 124 homes when completed, with a mix of villas and condominiums. The Clubhouse will be built next year and will be a luxurious addition to residents’ own homes within the village,” Andrew Philip told guests.
Special guest, Tony Barber regaled the room with stories of his life before showbiz in a funny, sometimes whimsical presentation that kept the room captivated.
Over 20% of the village was reserved in the week of the launch, so if you are considering a Peninsula retirement, visit the Martha Bay sales suite in Main Street, Mornington to learn more about what is planned.
